Iowa Agriculture Awareness Coalition
IAAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of Iowa's youth by providing quality, researched, and free educational resources to Iowa's educators. IAAC's projects help students gain awareness of agriculture’s important role in our daily lives, our economy, and our futures, so they may become citizens who support wise national and state agricultural policies and programs, and be environmentally responsible.
Statewide, 393,636* jobs are related to agriculture. That means about 1 in every 4-6 jobs in Iowa is Ag related! All students need to learn about agriculture's role to be prepared for many careers or to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. We all eat and are dependent upon transportation fuels.
